Help & System Status

This help site
Your documentation has its own website: help.studiotorres.com. Enter that into your browser and you'll end up back here. Simple name, easy to remember. Here are some quick features of this site:
- the forward slash key
/will take your cursor directly to the search box - or, you can click the magnifying glass
- In the upper right hand corner, there's a little icon that looks like a moon. Click it and the site will switch to a dark theme, saving your poor retinas from the blinding whiteness.
- Click the little icon that has a clock in it to see the pages you've visited recently
- Click the menu button to see a basic table of contents. (Some content headers also appear in the left sidebar on many pages.)
- Everything else should be self-explanatory, but if you have any questions, HMU fam!

System Status
To see the status of StudioTorres web and email servers, visit status.studiotorres.com . The statuses on this page are updated every minute. If any of the services is unreachable after 3 minutes, I get a text and a notification on my computer so I can see whaaaaasup.
This page can be useful if something isn't working for you and you want to see if the problem is with your computer or if the server is actually down.

Efficiently Searching in Gmail
Having a hard time finding a message in gmail? Have a look at the quick gmail search tips to locate what you need quickly. I promise, your minimal 5-minute look at this page will pay for itelf in increased efficency!

Office 365
- Use word, excel, powerpoint, etc. directly in the web browser;
- Download a copy of Office for your computer;
- Should you need it, you can also download the installer for the whole Microsoft Office Suite for your laptop/desktop;

Dropbox + Shared Files (in progress, sub-pages not present yet)
- files formerly in the

- If you cannot see the Family Room when you login on the web, you're logged in to the wrong account. Here is how to get yourself logged in to the proper account dead link pending page creation.

Content Management System (website)

Malwarebytes
It is vital that you ensure that Malwarebytes is always properly licensed, running, and freshly updated on every Windows computer that you use. If Malwarebytes is having any problems at all, get in touch right away. I will fix it.

Lastpass
We have a family subscription for lastpass, so let's start using it! Speaking of passwords, Gmail is going to implement 2 factor authentication on all business accounts before the end of 2021. I'll be in touch about how we will migrate to that.
